KXCI Presents John Vanderslice this Sunday at Plush

This Sunday evening KXCI presents John Vanderslice at Plush. Recognized for his sonically adventurous solo releases, John Vanderslice is touring with a full band behind his latest release Emerald City on Barsuk Records. Vanderslice is a critically acclaimed indie rocker rolled up with an imaginative singer songwriter. He writes narrative tales that evoke strong feelings and images, in the four minute song format. Long on studio savvy, Vanderslice fills his songs with new sonic twists and bursts of melodic madness but never leaves the focus of the song behind. Vanderslice and band swing through Tucson for a show at Plush, Bowerbirds open at 9PM. Plush is on the corner of 4th Avenue and 6th Street.
