"Hello everyone! In a rare fit of organization and advance planning, I have decided the topic for Ruby's Roadhouse next Saturday (July 14). It's Woody Guthrie's birthday - he would have been 95 - and the Woody Guthrie Festival in Okemah, OK takes place the same weekend. I'll play all covers of Woody Guthrie songs, with a few originals, too. Not sure what to call it, other than "Happy Birthday Mr. Guthrie". He was a powerful artist; one of America's best."
